Our online learning courses are built around flexibility – allowing you to plan your own learning at a time and a place that suits you. Courses run for a fixed duration based on the schedule published on our website. Some activities are having fixed schedules – such as online meetings with your tutor – but otherwise you're free to access and work through the video lectures, study modules, tutorial videos and other online activities at your convenience.
Much of your teaching will be in the form of video lectures and we break these down into relatively short episodes to help you to be flexible in planning your studies. All of the videos are available when you start your course and you can watch and re-watch them whenever you wish.
Most courses will involve online quizzes or self-tests so that you and your tutor can keep track of how you’re getting on, and you’ll have regular contact with your tutor through online video-conference. Any coursework assignments can be submitted online through the tools provided on the website. We have a specially developed virtual learning environment and you’ll receive your grades and feedback through the same platform.
Distant Learning course has its own home study modules; students have to complete it within the specified time. Based on the topics discussed in each module there are assignments and an evaluation. Each study module has complimenting lecture videos and Tutorial videos to make the Distant Learning Program a comprehensive one.
At School of Ayurveda and Panchakarma, Distance Learning students receive the same level of teaching and support as our students on site. We regularly update our online and interactive technologies to allow you to connect easily with our teachers and trainers. As a distance learner, you’ll join a group of fellow students who you can contact through our online communities. In terms of academic support, you will be assigned an academic tutor or a course adviser who will be available to answer your questions, provide feedback on your progress and advise you on scheduling your studies.
We’ll give you technical support if you have difficulty setting up any equipment or software. Your course adviser will give you proper guidance on how to use our virtual learning environment, video conferencing and community platforms when you first start your course.
